Bar coating is very effective to use for solution processed metal oxide precursors. Alternatively you could use spray coating technique too. Both techniques can be homemade easily in the lab. Although it is a bit difficult to get homogenous films manually, after some practices, you could get pretty uniform films. Good enough for device fabrications.
