To create a mathematical model you must specify:

1. What are the independent process parameters and how you can measure them.

2. Who are the dependent one - you will create a mathematical model for them.

You have to collect data on what values of the independent parameters are the values of the dependent. At this point, the task becomes very complex. The easiest way is to create graphically the variation ot the dependent parameter as a function of independent, and to identify the graph with an appropriate mathematical function. After identification of one-parameter dependency, you should look for dependencies from two or more independent parameters.
