Recently in the lab I started working in, we found an old bottle of piperidine but it appears to be contaminated with a yellow impurity, possibly an oxidation product. Nevertheless, some resin(Rink-Amide) was successfully deprotected by it. Besides distillation is there another way to purify it, effectively.
