What are the best kits to carry out each of the following assays on proteins for comparison between two groups of samples?
1. Gycosilation.
2. Acetylation.
3. Editing.
I am looking for possible posttranslational modification in the proteins that may explain the differences observed in the organisms in which the samples were collected.

Thanks a lot for the answers provided. I have gone through the papers and protocols suggested for glycosilation. ProQ- Emerald seems to work very. My challenge remains the identification of the residues that are glycosilated.
I use a commercial company for MALDI/TOF MS. I was hoping there was a way of identifying those residues without the need to send my samples out.
