Hello.

I have 2 question

1. I want to know the advantages of CORPS BFN specially in one-beam steering. Because we can give the output phase and amplitude of the network instead of input amplitude and phase which Matlab give us by just a power divider with different amplitude and phase division ratio since it would be needed also by using CORPS BFN.

it is a more general question Also  for multi-beam implementation because in most of the papers it is mentioned that CORPS BFN have less complexity compare to the conventional BFNs, But eventually there must be an excitation network to produce needed amplitudes and phases at the inputs of antenna elements for changing pattern of array.

2. Does 1 layer CORPS BFN satisfies the property of periodicity to be accepted as a CORPS BFN? Also I think it can be divided in to 2 individual phased array for 2 beam applications with less difference since it shares only 1 antenna at the output.

Thank you.
