Being selfish could mean showing excessive concern for oneself or caring only for one's own interests. In what ways can selfishness be beneficial in daily living? Sharing is caring!!!
The most beneficial trait of being selfish is that one's love for himself/herself is superior to love of others which can serve for society benefit through avoiding harm to others because this harm may convert upon him/her and also pursue for better life through hard work which may be of improving life of others. So as one is selfish is not at all is deteriorating community but there is a little bit of light where good deeds can be achieved.
We are creatures made of mixed good and bad and good can not vanish at all.
While the term "selfishness" often carries a negative connotation, there can be situations where prioritizing your own needs and well-being can have positive outcomes.Prioritizing self-care and personal growth can build emotional resilience. When you take care of your own needs, you're better equipped to handle challenges and setbacks.
This question reminded me of a discussion that I started years ago. I believe that we are surrounded by selfishness everywhere...Self-love is beneficial for a person as it pushes him to achieve his/her goals, but he/she should not persist in loving himself and turn into a selfish person who takes into account his own interests only at the expense of the interests of others because by doing so, he/she will lose the love of others for him/her.
