Hi, for some RFLP method, I am using both type of these featured restriction enzymes (Native Vs HF) and the result is almost same, just a little bit change in buffer composition but what are the extra benefits that HF enzyme provide, over Normal restriction enzyme ? . From an internet search I have found that HF Restriction enzyme have reduce reduced “star activity”.

What this STAR activity actually, meaning? Cutting site selectivity?
