There are different usage of FSH to stimulate superfolliculation and then ovulation. As you said one way is usage of decreasing doses of FSH two times a day. FSH can be used same doses in Four days.  Moreover, one dose usage of FSH has been tried in experimentally. However, two application per day and four days application of FSH is very time consuming and needed alot of labor. In recent years, one dose FSH usage with eCG has been used to stimulate superovulation in goat. In this way, disadvantages of FSH and eCG usage have been overcame... 

Different dosages of FSH and eCG are applied in different animals. I think you can check attached files to obtain more information about dosages and usage of FSH.

Hi Gaci: I am assuming you are asking about the dose of FSH in Bos Taurus. In general we use the recommended dose, 400 mg NIH-FSH-P1 in 20 mL (in the case of Folltropin-V), so the protocol is something like 4, 3, 2 and 1 mL per injection. Having said that, in the last few years the Superovulation protocols have improved greatly. Unfortunately I couldn’t attach a manuscript to this message. Marcos

Dear Gaci.

We are using Stimufol in following dosages: 1.4; 1.1; 0.9 and 0.6 (a.m. and one more injection p.m.) in cows and it works well.
