Do you mean application of RPL or UDP on RPL?

I'm not familiar with the sensor network communication, but UDP is widely used in other applications except for robustness which need TCP connection.

i need a example of application of RPL which need only UDP

for example in mesh network multimedia or video transmitting need only UDP

I think a sensor network with many sensors periodically send samples to server is a viable application in this framework. Such as temperature, acoustic noise monitoring sensor networks.
