What are the advantages of biomass derived chemicals over the fossils' type?

Biomass may either be agricultural or forestry base

Biomass derived chemicals although recent technology is the future in terms of; sustainability, renewability, strong competition and if it is given half the attention fossil-based ones receive, it will prove more rewarding for the future.
