As the saying goes, all models are wrong but some are useful.
When i read the literatures on corruption, i find that there are some basic models of corruption ,such as principal-agent model, collective action model, threshold model, system dynamics model and so on.
i want to campare these models and understand their limits. is someone willing to join me to do this work?
And could someone recommand some other analytical models to me beside the above?

Assuming that the comparative analysis of the basic models is aimed at a synthesis of some sort. I would suggest "cheap talk signaling games" as a potential way forward to integrate hitherto disparate/independent models in your existing comparative set:bargaining,signaling and games.The integration may involve compensating the weakness of some constituent model(s) with the complementary strength of the others.

The Corruption activity occurs because of the unclear legal aspects and the lack of socialization limit corruption so that someone much stuck because of ignorance of the legal aspects. Therefore, the analytical model will be much better to know the factors that influence the occurrence of corruption. The value of religious life one can be used as a measure of whether a person has the potential for corruption.
When comparing 143 countries in my recent book (attached below), I noticed that the level of corruption is very much related to average national income per capita (pp.152-157), ease of doing business, average share of national income for the richest decile, and average war score (p. 199), and the standard of education, average life expectancy at birth, and road traffic deaths (pp. 217-219). Of course, most of the above indicators correlate with national income per capita that makes it difficult to distinguish their influence in corruption. In principle, I think that the major issue is the quality of public governance. Here I refer to the work of North, Wallis, and Weingast who explained the difference between limited and open access social orders.
