Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) are an emerging wireless technology, which support wide range of applications including broadband home networking, community and neighborhood networking, transportation systems, surveillance and security systems, etc. It comprises Mesh Routers (MR) and Mesh Clients (MC). The backbone of WMN is formed by mesh routers, which are almost static in nature. Provision of high performance secured and reliable routing in Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) is susceptible to many types of attacks. The WMN is build with mobile ad hoc networks, in which all the MCs directly communicate with each other without the involvement of Access Points (AP) and gateway. All the clients have routing capability.
