Research methods courses do not carry the same success rates as other courses in higher education programmes due to their difficulty levels. Overall, I find many students are unable to apply what they learn inside their research methods classroom, outside the classroom to their graduate research. Can you share what are some of the challenges with which students struggle and how you have dealt with these. I am particularly interested in your best practice strategies and welcome your feedback that will help to improve current practice.
