You can follow a number of ways to communicate your findings with others. However, publishing your findings in scholarly journals, conference proceedings, displaying as a poster , or as a presentation in an academic event is encouraging if you wish to retain in academia. However, avoid submitting your article simultaneously for multiple venues as it could lead towards serious issues. You have to be very careful when selecting your publication venue. There are lot of scam publishers and bogus publications that are ready to provoke young authors to publish in their journals. You will receive nothing publish with them, except loosing your money. Thus, avoid these predatory publishers and publications as much as possible. Have an advice from peers if it is needed.

If you have a senior scientist in your group, ask her/him for advise. If not, then talk with an even higher placed scholar.
Your professional journals that are peer reviewed are the best way. Write them for publication guidelines and requirements.
- Become familiar with journals in your field. If you can identify one that best matches your work and the readers who would be interested in it, you can save yourself many months of waiting to hear from a publisher, only to find your manuscript is rejected because it does not address the journal’s target audience. Large journal publishing companies include the Nature group, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, and Springer. Most offer information to help you match your manuscript with a journal. Databases of publications include Web of Science, Scopus, and IEEEXplore.
- If your institution has a library, the librarian can provide a great deal of helpful information.
- Look up and follow the author guidelines for the journal to which you intend to submit your manuscript, to remove another reason for rejection.
- If you choose a journal that uses a language other than your native tongue, consider having a native speaker of the journal’s language review it. Your best choice would be a person who writes well and also understands your work, at least to some extent.

Look for journals at your field of expertise. Make a list of journals that match your scope and topic of interest. Look at their websites and check out previous and current issues. And you can consult your seniors, if you like. All the best.
