As different polymers with different characteristics are exist,I want to know What polymers can be used for packaging an orthobiologic product(bone allograft),which can have enough resistent to gamma irradiation(up to 25-30kGy),and keep the product steril?
You can consider PLA/PBAT, also you may need to use additive like UV stabilizer for this application
Typical packaging materials for medical devices sterilized with gamma are 1) for flexible packaging is Tyvek-to-Tyvek, Tyvek-to-film or foil-to-foil pouches, or 2) for hard packaging is PETG trays with Tyvek or foil lids.
To add to my last comment, A few years ago I worked with demineralized bone implant devices and we used foil-to-foil pouches for freeze dried matrix-type DBM or for DBM powder and polypropylene syringes in a foil-to-foil pouch for paste-type DBM.
