There are data on these properties in the older literature , but please bear in mind that asbestos should no more be used in such applications because of the carcinogenic health risks of asbestos. Any level of exposure to any type of asbestos carries a cancinogenic risk .

I realise that for some very stringent temperature and pressure conditions,such as in rocketry, suitable asbestos replacement materials may be difficult to find.
In this case asbestos may have to be used under very stringent handling conditions, at all phases of its use cycle.
