Dear Michael,

Thanks a lot for the references. I have found a discussion on latest results from BOSS program in CERN courier September 2016 issue. It says that there is a connection between baryon acoustic oscillations with clustering of galaxies which happened 7-12 billion years after the time of decoupling of radiation from matter in early universe. According to Rita Tojeiro of the University of St Andrews https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Rita_Tojeiro, it is an observed effect which was caused by the primordial process of recombination.
