I am searching for scales to analyze the firm strategy, firm strategic orientation, innovation orientation. F. e. to analyze their strategic dimension.
Background of this question is to analyze these firms to consult them with a specification on innovation / idea development.
If some can give me some scales or authors about these topics, I would be really grateful.

Firm Strategy:
- Porter's Generic Strategies:Author: Michael E. Porter Scale: Porter's framework includes three generic strategies – cost leadership, differentiation, and focus – that firms can adopt to gain a competitive advantage.
- Miles and Snow's Adaptive Strategies:Authors: Raymond E. Miles and Charles C. Snow Scale: Miles and Snow propose four types of strategic orientations for firms – prospectors, defenders, analyzers, and reactors.
Strategic Orientation:
- Innovativeness, Risk-Taking, and Proactiveness (IRP) Scale:Authors: Carlos J. L. B. de Sousa, José F. V. V. Silva, and Jorge Ferreira da Silva Scale: Measures a firm's innovativeness, risk-taking propensity, and proactiveness, key dimensions of strategic orientation.
- Market Orientation Scale:Authors: Narver, J. C., and Slater, S. F. Scale: Evaluates a firm's market orientation, focusing on customer orientation, competitor orientation, and interfunctional coordination.
Innovation Orientation:

You might want to judiciously consider the industry and cultural factors as well that may influence the applicability of these to different firms.
I would start by interviewing the senior leaders, as high as possible on the ladder. Don't forget to include the head of IT in the interviews. Try to understand the motivations and vision of both groups and see if they coincide.
The interviews with the senior leaders (C-level and up) will give you a sense of the strategy, at least from their perspective. The interview with the senior IT will give you a sense of the innovation strategy. Both groups should be aligned to be on the right path.
Once all that is done, go down a couple of levels on the ladder and repeat the exercise. If there is a strategy, mid-management should be in the loop, knowing at least the short and mid-term objectives, plans and goals (every strategy has a tactic).
The vitality index is a common measure of firm innovation. Widely used by management consultants.
Furthermore 'research and development intensity' looks at R&D spend as a % of revenue
