There seem to be different opinions on the cut-off points for 2- and 3-point codes. Please consult Roger Greene's interpretive manual and Gary Groth-Marnat's Handbook of Psychological Assessment for details.

I'd definitely look at the 72 code due to their high elevations (i.e., >4  and 3.5 standard deviations above the norm respectively). The Sc scale is also clinically significant by itself because it is above a t-score of 65 (1.5 standard deviations above the norm); I'd therefore look at it independently and as a 3-point code to see if it offers any more information on the patient. 

From a computer-generated report, I'd look at the content scales, subscales, supplementary scales, the critical items and other newer scales as well. Together with the information from the clinical interview, other psychological test results, and collateral information from the patient's significant others, I'd interpret the MMPI results.

What kind of research are you conducting with the MMPI-2?

Although the fourth highest scale is below the cut-off point of 65, I'd look at it especially if it is scale 4 or scale 6. In addition to looking at the code of 728, you may want to consider 7284 or 7286, or look at both 72 and 84 or 86 depending on what the fourth scale is.
