In the the Polish political science, debate about transport policy - in fact - are not raising. It may surprise, because transport policy is not only a political space of disagreements (a kind of "game of interest"), but is also a subject of public discourse - transportation plays crucial role in people's life.

Therefore, it is worth to ask about transport policy as an integral part of wider public policies, especially:

  • what factors facilitating and inhibiting formulation of transport policy objectives and their implementation;
  • what are instruments used by decision-makers;
  • how looks like - in EU and each country - creating of transport policy;
  • what are political challenges and directions kinds of transport sectors, like space transport, air transport or  rail/ sea/ road transport;
  • why transport policy infuence on quality of life of citizens (environmental issues, sustainable development and exclusion / social inclusion);

I will be grateful for your answers.

PS.

If you are very interested of that topic (and you will be in Poland) please let's participate in 3rd Political Sciences Congress  (link to the website below) and join to the panel "Transport policy in perspective of public policies. Polish and European experiences"
