When you have worked through a trauma with possible PTSD then you free (deliver) the energy attached to the trauma and the freed (unattached) energy takes new forms. This is called PTSD growth. In this phase you experience psychological functioning. It is no quick fix, it may take years of work and understanding. In other words, it is detachment from trauma.
It takes atleast 20-30 sessions and years of effort by both Therapist and the client, and that process largely depends on the clients factors such as motivation and trust in the Therapist.
