What is the permeable concrete?its disadvantages??do you think it is the time to use it in streets and yards to solve the problem of floods of rain storms??
Normally permeability denotes large amount of pores in the concrete. Concrete with higher permeability has less strength when compared with the concrete with low permeability. Permeable concrete can't able to sustain large loads, when heavy loaded vehicle such as road roller moves on it cracks will be developed and also because of heavy load the pores in concrete filled by the surrounding materials.
High permeability concrete may be used for pavements near the roads and parks to store the storm water.
