Well Killing Technology:
Taking into account the high frequency of workover operations (roughly 1 well workover per annum), will it be feasible to solve the problem of preservation, restoration and improvement of bottomhole formation zone (BFZ) filtration characteristics using a simple common process fluid (rather than using Inverse Water Oil Emulsion or Aqueous-based hydrophobic composition or Inverse Acid Oil Emulsion or Visco-Elastic Gels) that can be used for directed regulation of BFZ filtration characteristics during workover operations for both Terrigeneous and Carbonate reservoirs?
Whether the deduced new compositions of well killing and stimulation fluids that are being developed at the laboratory-scale using experimental investigations will really help the prevention of fluid loss, gas breakthrough, as well as preservation, restoration and improvement of BFZ filtration characteristics - pertaining to the large-scale field-conditions of terrigenous and carbonate reservoirs at different stages of oil field development?
What will be the maximum well flow rate that can be achieved (on an average) in terrigeneous and carbonate reservoirs? Can we exceed 10 m3/day?
To what extent we will be able to reduce the time required for the well to start operating? Can it go up to 5 days in a terrigenous reservoir characterized by low-permeability with water-cut up to 60%?
Can we expect the water-cut of the produced products to get reduced by more than 30% - in case of high-permeability or fractured reservoirs with water-cut up to 70%?
Is there any upper limit for planned radius of treatment used in the estimation of the required volume of the used process fluids that will be pushed into the bottomhole zone?
