Hi guys,

I am now using Newport Nirvana balanced photodetector and measuring with a locking at 250 Hz. The background noise (connected to the power supply but with the switch is off) is huge (Pk-Pk value is ~2 mV). When I don't change anything but just connect the lockin input to the Thorlabs photodetector, the noise is 5 times smaller. I am using the official power supply for nirvana. So what could be wrong?
