I am working on a business model project to design a supply-chain network. The aim is to design a network with max. efficiency. Some references have been put forward suggesting scale-free topology will be needed to achieve this. For this I want to look into weighted and directed ones as well.
Since there is no specific question, it is a bit difficult to know what you want exactly.
There is a lot of documentation on directed networks. If you want to look at directed scale-free networks you can see the Price algorithm and some reference in the graph-tool documentation.
Weighted networks are problematic for many reasons, but I have no specific references to give you unless you mention some specific need... Many "simple"/standard measurements have been adapted to weighted networks, though.
