The molecular weight of the drug is 1079.1.
1M----------->the value of the molecular weight (with the unit g)------------->1L
1M----------->the value of the molecular weight (with the unit mg)------------->1mL
1nM----------->[the value of the molecular weight (mg)]X10-9------------->1mL
1nM----------->[1079 (mg)]X10-9------------->1mL
so to prepare 1 nM from your drug, you need [1079 X 10-9mg] dissolved in 1 ml.
To prepare this from your stock, use the following equation:
C1V1=C2V2
10mg/ml X V1= 1079 X 10-9mg/ml X 1 ml
V1=[1079 X 10-9mg/ml X 1 ml]/10mg/ml
So you need to take 0.0001079ul and complete the volume to 1 ml.
this is a very small volume, so dilute your stock many times and use C1V1=C2V2 to get your volume in each step until you get 1079 X 10-9mg/ml.
