For example, we have EEG signal having 64 Hz frequency. We need to decompose the signal into sub-bands. At the first level of WPD, approximate and detailed decomposed signal have 32 Hz and 32 Hz. Do we achieve exactly half frequency for each band? Also, the signal is divided into two signals having exactly half frequency?
