Hi,

I have a rather simple experiment in which I am evaporating water in a 250mL sample bottle. The sample bottle is supplied with a inflow of N2 gas (5L/min). A 10mm hole (circular) was drilled in the sample bottle cap for the gas outlet. This experimental system is then placed in an oven at 45°C.

I would like to be sure that no water vapor from outside the system can difuse into the system through the gas outlet. Unfortunately, I am not so good in physics to answer this question by myself...

Can you help me?
