is there anyone who is doing research on fluid motion in fluid tank when the fluid tank is in sinusoidal motion? I want to understand some doubts of analytical method if anyone is in this study, and anyone suggest me a good and easily understandable paper for analytical study, I did computation method but need to know analytical.

I think Thacker (1981) has some beautiful solutions for wave oscillations in idealized tanks. Although the tank is not in sinusoidal motion, the solutions can be great verification data for most numerical simulations.
