Hi, everyone!

Can anyone suggest to me how to provide velocity boundary conditions for the Eulerian domain in ABAQUS/Explicit??

I am working on a model in ABAQUS/Explicit, I have a plate that is considered as Eulerian domain and I have to provide velocity boundary condition to a surface along x-direction of the plate (material assigned zone) only in X direction representing the advancing motion of the plate.

I have applied the following steps:

Select the faces whose normal vectors are X-axis and apply a velocity value and all other components to zero. In addition, select all other surfaces and apply all velocity components to zero for these surfaces. However, existing error "nodes have DOF on which velocity displacement base motion constraints are specified simultaneously".

How I can exclude the intersecting regions, I have tried but failed. If someone can suggest to me how to do so would be very helpful for me.
