Actually it is simple. It is as the same as the one which you want to prescribe velocity BC for Lagrangian surface or node. You need to use the velocity BC and apply the specific velocity of material inlet or outlet rate (as the feed rate) to the surface of the Eulerian material. Abaqus provides the inlet or outlet material according to the properties of the defined material. But you need to assign the Eulerian material to the part in the "predefined field" at "Load" module too, beside in the Section that you have already specified.  Hope this would help.

Actually i have already assigned the material to the plate like you mentioned here.But my issue is that when i create a "velocity boundary condition"for the plate,what region i should select??

should i select the whole plate or the surfaces and provide the value only for one direction and zero for other???

I have to give velocity to the plate in only one direction.

Hello, you are so welcome. No, you do not need to select the whole plate. Suppose you have a cube and you want to apply material flow rate or feed rate in X direction equal to 10 mm/s. So you should select the faces whose normal vectors are X axis and apply Vx=10 and all other components to zero. In addition, select all other surfaces and apply all velocity components to zero for these surfaces.

Surely some edges or nodes have been included in two or more BCs simultaneously. You have to exclude the intersecting regions (edges and nodes) in one of the BCs.

Did you solve your problem? I am also having a similar type of issue.

Eulerian domain can accept velocity boundary conditions only, as the mesh is fixed, therefore no displacement constrains can be imposed.

So if i have a domain and the material assigned in side the domain should not escape, you define zero velocity boundary conditions on the surface of the domain. On the other hand, if you want to simulate a flow entering the Eulerian domain, from the entrance point define velocity equal to inlet flow, also at the surface.
