I recently used James Gaskin Plugins for indirect effects of Multiple Mediation and Multi-Group Mediation Analyses in AMOS version 24. My study aimed to explore predictors of Satisfaction for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) delivered in-person compared to online for people with depression. The predictors significantly explaining the model were: (1) Therapeutic Alliance and (2) Outcome Expectancy. Both these variables have 4 and 2 latent variables respectively.

My queries are as follows:

1. Can a variable with more than 2 latent variables (Therapeutic Alliance, in our case) be assessed in a multiple mediation model? If yes, how? If not, what are the reasons?

2. How can I run indirect pathway analysis for a variable (Satisfaction) with a mediator (Outcome Expectancy) having 2 latent variables (Credibility and Expectancy)?

I tried to run multi-group mediation for Satisfaction keeping 'Outcome Expectancy' as a mediator. I am unable to enter the latent variables to generate the indirect pathways.

Please guide me on the above matter.

Thank you!
