I have observed increased florescence life time of CdS QDs with the increasing addition of analyte. What will be the possible cause for it and what type of quenching mechanism is there?

I agree with Peter, if quenching takes place because of electron transfer usually it results decrease the lifetime of QDs if fluorescence increases on the addition of analyte, that shall lead to increase the lifetime of complex and probably due to the ligand to metal charge transfer.
