I would like to ask you if you know articles/handbooks where I can find information about how to simulate (transient state) the pressure drop and leakage in a closed loop system using water as a fluid.

Currently I'm using the book of Fluid Mechanics from Frank White using the PdV + VdP = 0 and dP = R (dV/dt)^2 equations.

I attached an schematic of the closed loop system I want to simulate. The fluid goes to a heat exchanger where the fluid is divided into several branches. We want to model the leakage volume flow when one hose is loosed and the pressure drop in the system til the interlock is activated.

Every suggestion is appreciated.
