Leaders in organizations struggle to earn the trust of others, often because their fundamental ethical approach to governance and leadership fails to adequately address the standards of excellence and the characteristics essential for responding to changing conditions. My colleagues and I have developed a new Transformative Philosophy -- a perspective about six key components of organizations that scholars have identified as vital to be incorporated in modern leadership for the past 40 years. We have also developed an instrument that measures the degree to which individuals embrace the characteristics of this philosophy. Are others interested in using that instrument as a resource for measuring leaders' perspectives associated with this new ethically-based philosophy?
