Jim Collins (2001) introduced the concept of the Level 5 Leader in his outstanding book, Good to Great. He identified Level 5 Leaders as being the unique combination of Humility and Fierce Resolve. Perhaps few leaders qualify, inasmuch as Humility is not typically perceived as a leadership qualification -- although Collins found it to be important. How is Level 5 Leadership viewed as an applicable leadership model?
