I am doing a research in self-managing team, as a part of my Master thesis. What I want to find from it, is the relationship between self-managing approach and job satisfaction, motivation and perceived performance of team members.

Hereby, while reviewing literature, I found studies which have proven some positive effects of self-managing approach in teams, while still there is a number of studies proving that 'traditional' teams are more effective.

Putting these two different philosophies vis-a-vis, I would appreciate your contribution in this discussion.

Regards,

Besnik
