Dear colleagues, i'm doind the TPC evaluation of some Methanolic extracts and i want to know how to convert my results from mgGAE/gDW to mg/100g, i did some bibliography and i find that the obtained values after conversion are different...

as you mentioned,
If your present results in mg GAE/g DW of plant sample.. and want to convert it into mg/100 g plant sample.
you can simply multiply present results with 100.
suppose 0.234 mgGAE/g DW
0.234*100= 23.4 mg GAE/ 100 g DW.
If your present results in mg GAE/g DW of Extract weight ...
1. find out how much extract you got in 100 gm of plant sample (suppose 25 gm extract/100 gm plant sample).
2. multiply present results with 25 (0.234*25=5.85 mg GAE/25 gm Extract Weight =5.85 mgGAE/100 gm plant sample).

The following equation can be used:
Y=0.0011x + 0.0018
R2 = 0.998
The output is then multiplied by the dilution factor to be the result at unite (mg/g dry weight)
