Pathophysiologcal role of ET-1 has been well studied (stroke, TBI). However, how much ET-1 contributes to cerebral blood flow in brain in comparison with other vasoregulators is an interesting question. An ideal way to answer this would be checking functional hyperemia upon administration of endothelin receptor antagonists.

Any studies in this regard?

Also, any suggestion for antibodies that would work in IHC/IF on brain sections?
