I suggest a temperature range between 300 0C and 600 0C. the decomposition of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin occurs within this temperature range under pyrolysis conditions for biomass. the kinetic parameters for the formation of biochar, oil and gas should as well be determined within this same temperature range. Reason been that optimum yield of pyrolysis product are obtained within this temperature range and can be seen from the peaks in DTGA.

Do you want to do isothermal or non-isothermal kinetics? Personally I prefer non-isothermal for decomposition reactions since you then do not have a problem with thermal equilibration at the onset.
Choose three temperature ramps, eg. 3, 5 and 10 degrees per minute and heat the sample from below decomposition to the point where it is totally decomposed. After that, use the Coats-Redferm method, which is quite straight forward.

It will depend on the shape of your DTG curves. The peaks (and shoulders) will show you the temperature range for the main pyrolysis reactions. Most biomass materials have 300 - 600 degC as the main pyrolysis temperature range.
