I'm starting the process of testing purification methods, and one of the most commonly used is centrifugation. Still, most papers don't have the velocity used, so I wanted to know how many rpm are normally used?

Carbon quantum dots are typically purified by centrifugation at 4000–10,000 rpm for 10–30 minutes to remove aggregates. This step is often combined with filtration or dialysis for better purity.
