In the powder detergents research we use system TAED/percarbonate. Idea is Catalyst/percarbonate. Tinocat TRS KB2 from BASF is not in product range just Tinocat LT200/or B249. MnTACN is available .
be careful with Manganese catalysts for powder detergents.
They perform very well an increase the performance of the base powder significantly. MnTACN in particular is very powerful but above about 60°C it can attack Elastan and probably also other synthetic fibers. Fiber and color damage profile is not acceptable at higher temperature.
Unilever experienced that in the late 90ies (OMO power desaster!!!).
You can find more information on that in the internet.
This event is was the reason why none of the big soapers touched catalysts for quit a long time.
Tinocat is not as powerful as MnTACN and I would not recommend this catalyst for powder detergents.
