hi all,

i am trying to electrodeposit Sn on Cu, and some carbon substrate. my electrolyte is SnCl2.2H2O in a 2M KOH solution.

i notice that after adding SnCl2.2H2O to KOH solution a very transparent solution (like water) is achieved and no electroplating happens. i expect the solution to be cloudy but it is not !

you have any suggestion what is wrong with it? or any comment or procedure to make the deposition solution? i am guessing that i might not make the solution in the right sequence (?)(i add SnCl2.2H2O to KOH solution)

thanks for your help.
