Time for cell cycle progression in RPE1 p53- ?

Hi,

I am trying to perform a cell synchronisation in RPE1 p53- using mitotic shake off and I have observed a delay in cell cycle progression.

I know it is due to p53 mutation but I am wondering if someone already has a standardised protocol and know which are the optimal time points ?

Use of the rnitotic selection procedure for cell cycle analysis. Cornparison between the X-ray and cyclohexirnide G2 rnarkers. Exp. Cell Res. 74,430-438 (1972). This may help.
