Considering the different season and the tropical storm, What do you think should be the angle of inclination of placement of a photovoltaic solar panel when used in a tropical country and with the aim of supplying power directly to the electricity grid?
Well, in old books about Solar Energy, a range of +/- 10° from the latitude's site was always considered, depending of the season, whether was summer or winter months.
I don't know if nowadays a better design parameter could be used.
For a fixed angle panel, the easiest way just put it a similar degree of inclination to the latitude of the location. Facing north if it is at southern hemisphere and vice versa. If you want to optimize more in detail you will need a simulation. CMIIW

Usually, for simplicity, the PV array installed with an angle equal to the latitude of the location facing south or north, depending on you are in the northern or southern hemisphere, respectively. On another hand, +- 10 or +-15 degrees added to the altitude to take into consideration seasonal variation. However, it is better and advisable to find the optimum tilt angle, but you need to take into account the following points:
- in the solar belt, you have two seasons otherwise four seasons.
- The PV system is fixed at a tilt angle or changed every month, every 3 or 6 months.
