A question on GLACIOLOGY:

Looking for the information on the tidewater glaciers of Svalbard (i.e. the glaciers that produce the icebergs) that represents the present day sitauation.

There is a good paper: Błaszczyk, M., Jania, J. A., and Hagen, J. O. (2009). Tidewater glaciers of Svalbard: recent changes and estimates of calving fluxes. Pol. Polar Res. 30:85. The paper is great, but it is dated by 2009.

Any newer published materials (papers, reports etc.) - that could be read about these glaciers (with possible ablation /iceberg flux estimations) - are highly appreciated.

Already checked the RGI 6.0, but failed due to lack of experience of working with such sources. Looking for more simple source (published paper, report etc.).

Many thanks in avance for your assistance.

best regards,

Igor Buzin
