I would like to get an idea about the usual thickness values of coatings in high strength and advanced high strength steels (e.g. JAC590/980, USIBOR 1500 etc.) used commonly in automotive industries.
The coating (dry film) thickness varies from 2.5 µm to 1350 µm on aluminum and steel depending on the application. Basically its been measured with the coating thickness gauge which is an non destructive measurement.
