We are trying to investigate kinetics of CO and H2 electrochemical oxidation on ceria at 800 degreeC. Assuming elementary reactions;

CO_(g) + []_ce :::::::> CO_ce

H2_(g) + []_ce ::::::>  H2_ce

H2O_ce :::::::> H2O_(g) + []_ce

CO2_ce :::::::> CO2_(g) + []_ce

where []_ce & *_ce refer free sites available and adsorbed molecule on ceria surface respectively.

Unfortunately thermodynamics of adsorbed species on ceria surface is not easy accessible in literature. I could only find the bond energy between adsorbed molecule on ceria (for various orientations like 111, 100 etc). Is there anybody who can help, how to calculate/measure

1) thermodynamic properties (enthalpy & entropy) of adsorbed molecules

2) Activation energy and pre-exponent factors to calculate rate constant for forward reactions

Best Regards
