There're many kits to measure conc. of NF-kB in serum, how they work, even though the NF-kB is intracellular? And what subunits of NF-kB they measure?

NF-kB is an intracellular factor, then the cell lysate is used.

Thank you for answering me. That's true, but I found many kits that measure the conc. of NF-kB in serum. Is there any chance that this factor can be present in serum???
