I met the same problem, when I implemented the measured wheel and rail profiles. After smoothing the profiles, this issue was solved. So it may caused by discontinuity of the profiles

I also encountered this problem. I use the measured wear 100,000 kilometers of JM3 tread, this tread can be used in other high-speed car, but in my diesel locomotive has been wrong.
